are cell phones secure???

With cell phones doing a lot more things these days, from taking pictures and almost instantly sharing it with your friends via Facebook or what ever social media, to responding to those "important" work emails. Do we ever think about who can access these sometimes private things without our knowledge? If many of you are like me, probably not.  Well it is very possible, just ask Scarlett Johansson about her sexy pics or Rupert Murdoch about the Britain phone-Hacking scandal.So how can we make sure the little device that are becoming the center of our universe is kept hidden form prying eyes, well here is how:
Change your phone set up form default, to many people myself included just leave the service provided security setup or pin, because it's easier then having to come up with one own your own or maybe make your pin something like your birthday ( because that's number you don't give to anyone that ask...right??). make it  number that isn't easily guess or known by anyone because your service provider also use the same default number for everyone.
Malware:  Some apps form the android market actually had malware in them which gave someone the ability to get access to your contact list, pics, or log in info: some of these apps are:
